Rich Date Pudding

Ingredients:

Butter unsalted
1500 gr
room temperature
Brown sugar
1500 gr
Treacle
200 gr
Eggs
16
large
Plain flour
1400 gr
Baking powder
4
Dates
1700 gr
Pour over with 300gr of boiling water
Nutmeg ground

Ginger ground

Preparation mode:

  1. Soak dates, pour over with boiling water and leave them  for a night or 4-6 hours at least before using.
  2. Cream Butter, sugar and treacle
  3. Add eggs in 3 stages
  4. Mix flour and baking powder
  5. Fold dry ingredients in to the butter first, then soaked dates
  6. Bake date pudding at 150C for 35-40min ,full fan 0% humidity
