Irish White Soda Bread

Ingredients:

Plain flour
2.7 kg
Salt
50 gr
Soda Bicarbonate
50 gr
Unsalted Butter
110 gr
melted
Buttermilk
1800 gr

Preparation mode:

  1. Combine dry ingredients
  2. Pour buttermilk into mixing bowl first then dry and melted butter on top of flour
  3. Knead with paddle attachment for up to 3 – 4 min on slow speed
  4. Divide in 50 gr
  5. Roll with palm in to rounds
  6. Dip in to flour
  7. Place on to oiled baking tray
  8. Cut/mark a cross +
  9. Bake at 175 C for 12 min
