Home Made Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients:

Microwave popcorn bag
1
Caster sugar
500 gr
Butter
2 Tbls
Salt
1 Tsp
Soda Bicarbonate/Bread soda
1 Tsp
Water
100 gr

Preparation mode:

  1. Boil up sugar with water
  2. Reduce and bring to light caramel
  3. Microwave popcorn
  4. Place popcorn in a well oiled bowl
  5. Add butter and soda to caramel and stir well
  6. Pour caramel over popcorn
  7. Mix until all popcorn is covered in caramel
  8. Transfer popcorn on to a tray with silicon mat or parchment paper
  9. Flatten out and cool
  10. Remove any unpopped  grains
  11. Break apart
  12. Store in airtight container
