Carrot ‘Chalva’ – Lithuanian

Ingredients:

Carrots
900 gr
grated
Butter unsalted
150 gr
Milk full fat
500 gr
Caster sugar
300 gr
Flaked almonds
3 tbls
toasted
Raisins
3 tbls
Ground cardamon
1 tsp

Preparation mode:

1. Pan fry carrots and butter for 20 min
2. Add the rest of ingredients. Keep frying until get even paste
3. Cool down slightly and transfer on cling film
4. sprinkle with cardamom and refrigerate
