Brown bread
Ingredients:
Wholemeal/brown flour
2 kg
Bakers flour/Strong flour/T65
2 kg
Brown sugar
150 gr
Salt
50 gr
Bicarbonate soda
80 gr
Buttermilk
4.2 kg
Preparation mode:
- Pour buttermilk to the mixing bowl
- Mix dry ingredients together and pour over buttermilk
- Mix until well combined (should take up to a min)
- Divide in to oil sprayed tins
- Flatten the surface with wet hand
- Sprinkle some poridge
- Mark/cut with the dough scraper in the middle of the loaf length wise
- Bake brown bread for 75min at 165c 50% heat/50%steam
